สำหรับคริสเตียน การตายต่อตัวเก่าคือประตูที่นำไปสู่ชีวิต (ยน 12:24)

ความตายเป็นทางเดียวเท่านั้นและเป็นสิ่งที่จำเป็นที่สุดเพื่อเราจะเกิดผลมากมายถวายแด่พระเจ้าได้. (ยน 12:24)

แต่ทว่า....จะมีซักกี่คนที่ตายกันจริงๆ เมื่อได้พบมานาที่ซ่อนไว้แล้ว 

การตายต่อชีวิตเก่าคือการหยุดชงักทุกสิ่งที่เป็นการกระทำของชีวิตเก่าอาดาม (กท 2:20 / ฟป 1:21)

พระเยซูไม่ได้มาเพื่อไถ่เราให้พ้นจากความบาปเท่านั้น

แต่พระเยซูเสด็จมาเพื่อไถ่เราให้พ้นจากตัวเก่าของเราด้วย (2 คร 5:14)

การตายต่อชีวิตเก่าฝ่ายเนื้อหนังคือทางที่จะนำไปสู่ชีวิตใหม่ฝ่ายวิญญาณ (โรม 6:4)

การตายต่อตัวเก่าคือเชื่อว่าเราตายแล้ว นับว่าเราตายแล้ว ด้วยการพูดออกมาว่าข้าตายแล้ว ข้าตายแล้ว ฯลฯ และผลสุดท้าย คุณจะเห็น ตัวใหม่ (โรม 6:6-13)

For the Christian, Dead to self is the door to life

It is the only way to fruitfulness. Hence, death is absolutely necessary.

But how many of us are really dead?

Dead to self is cessation of all self's activity.

Christ is not the savior who saves us from our sins

But He is also the savior who saves us from ourselves 

To die to the self life is the only pathway to spiritual life

To die to self is to believe that you're dead, considering you're really dead saying i am dead i am dead i am dead Lord i am dead and at last you will se the newself
