William’s will:

In dei noie Amen the laste day of June if the yeare of our lorde god m vC xlvij th I John Plom[m]er of the paryshe of Brokeland in the countie of Kente being sicke in body and of p[er]fecte remembraunce, do make my testamente and laste will in man[er] and forme foloweng, First I bequethe my soule into thandes of the blessed Chryste, my body to be buryed in the churcheyard of brokeland forsayd/ Item I bequethe unto Johane plomer my suster all suche my money bothe golde and sylver as remaynethe nowe in thandes of William Tokey wiche I delyuered him to kepe, Item I will to the same Johane iiij li xiiij d wiche Edwarde Hony oweth me/ Item I will to the forsayd Johane all my hempe on the grownde, Item I bequeathe to Thomas plomer and willm plomer my brothern iij li xv s vj d wiche Thomas Knell owethe me/ Item I will to the sayd Thomas and Willm xxs wiche remayneth in thandes of Willm Knachebull, Item I will unto my brother Thomas all my wheate on the grounde and my olde hempe/ Item my will and mynde is that all suche leases and bargaynes concernyng my Lands and Ten’tes shall stand in full strength & effecte All the residue of my goods not bequethed I will them unto Thomas Plom[m]er and Willm Plom[m]er my brotherne whome I ordeyne and make by thies p[rese]ntes executors of this my laste will, And peter godfrey of Lyd in the Countie of Kente myne overseer, Wytness of this my laste will and testamente Thomas Dane clerke, Willm Warcope Richard Essex and Richard berwicke with other/
