Ellen’s parentage:
The 1605 will of Richard Hawarth of Sharples names his father Edmund Haworth and his brother in law John Crompton, whom he makes his executors. It also names, John’s daughter Jane Crompton.
The 1610 will of Edmund Haworth of Lostock names his daughter Ellin Crompton, his son in law John Crompton, and his granddaughters Jane and Elizabeth Crompton.
