Miles is named in Martha’s baptism record. The name “Miles Aspinall” occurs in several Lancashire families in the period, but I have not yet tracked down any connection.

Mother: uncertain

An Alice Fishick married a Miles Aspinall 29 May 1689 in Winwick. However, it is not clear that they are the same couple that had daughters baptized in 1705 and 1708. (There is a gap in baptisms between 1691 and 1705. Miles Aspinall occurs in this record from 1697, which connects him to "Downall Mill" and to a later Joseph Aspinall, apparently a son of Miles and Alice.)
