Relationships

(probable) Father: Hugues, count of Dammartin.

This relationship is given by Keats-Rohan (p. 431) and suggested by Mathieu (p. 49). Bur (p. 344) calls Odo “un frère présumé du comte Pierre” (a son of Hugues), and cites (p. 339) unpublished work by Jean-Noël Mathieu in support. Another construction makes Odo's wife Basilia the daughter of Hugues.

(probable) Mother: Rohais, possibly daughter of Richard fitz Gilbert de Clare.

This relationship is given by Keats-Rohan (p. 431), who notes a suggestion of Mathieu that she was the daughter of Richard de Clare. Bur (p. 342) shows her as a brother of Gilbert, count of Clare.

Spouse: Basilia.

This relationship is given by Keats-Rohan (p. 431) and by Bur (p. 344). Keats-Rohan notes a suggestion that she was a sister of Haimo de Saint-Clair. Bur (p. 344) notes, "Divers indices laissent penser qu'elle appartenait au lignage normand de Saint-Clair-sur-Elle, vassal du second mari de Rohais, Eudes le Sénéchal (+1120)." Mathieu (pp. 49-50) suggests that she was perhaps the sister of Guillaume and Haimo de Saint-Clair.
