Probably Anthony was descended from, or at least related to, the Henry Colle of Belbroughton who was a defendant in a 1484 case in the court of common pleas.

Sister: Isabel Cole. Married Edward Crump 17 July 1540 in Belbroughton. Died about 1588.

Isabel mentions her late husband Edward Crompe and her brother Harrie Coll in her will.

Sister: Christabel Cole. Married John Blowe 5 September 1555 in Belbroughton.

Isabel Cole makes a number of bequests to Christabel's children in her will.

In noi dei amen the First daye of October Anno dni 1571 and in the year of the Raign of our Sov[er]aign Ladye Elizabeth by the grace of god &c. xiij. I Antonye Colle of the parishe of Belbroughton in the countye of Worcetor have made my last will & Testament in this Fourm & mann[er] &c First I bequeath my Soulle to Almightie god & to this Son Jse Christe by whose merytes I doe trust & beleave to be saved and my bodye to be buryed in the churchyard of the foresaid Belbroughton: And alsoe I gyve & bequeath to my Son John Colle the one half yard land in the p[ar]ishe of Belbroughton within the lordship of Forffeild nowe beinge in the Tenure & occupacon of me the said Anthonye Colle & John to Reent’ in & upon the said one half yard land Immedyatelye aft’ the deces of me the said Antonye: And alsoe I bequeathe unto the said John Colle my Son the one half of the Ten’t which I dwell in called the morehall myll duringe the lyf of Agnes my wif Joyntlye to occupye to gether and unto the which Agnes I bequeath the other half of the Forenamed morehall myll duringe her lyf / and my will is that they shall occupye to gether at their pleasures But p[ro]vided that if they cannot soe agree soe to occupye to gether That then my will ys that the said Agnes my wif shall have all the said Ten’t beforenamed duringe her lif yealdeinge and payinge to the said John Colle yearlie lxiijs iiijd duringe her naturall lif And aft’ the deces of the said Agnes my wif that then I will that all the said Ten’t called morehall myll to Remayn unto the said John Colle & his heyres duringe the t[er]m of the said yeares of the lease of the same. And also I will that Agnes my wif shall take none other man to help her to tyll & dresse the ground or occupye any p[ar]te or p[ar]cell of the said Ten’t beforenamed But onelye Willm my Son and none other For her parte: And alsoe I gyve & bequeath to Willm Colle my Son all my Free land lyinge & beinge in the p[ar]ishe of Westbromyche nowe beinge in the Tenure & occupacon of John Addenbroke the Son of Fowke Addenbroke of the p[ar]ishe of Oldeswinford and to the heires of the said Willm his bodye lawfully begotten For eu[er] and For lacke of suche heyres I will that all the said lands to Remayn unto John Colle my Son and to his heyres For eu[er]: And alsoe I will that Agnes my wif shall keepe & Find my Brother Henry Colle meate drinke & clothes and all other necessaryes durynge her naturall lyf and aft’ her deceas I will that John Colle my Son shall Receave the said Henrye Colle into his custodye and to Find to the said Henry Colle meat drinke clothes & all other necessaryes durynge the lif of the said John Colle unto the end of the lyf of the said Henrye: And alsoe I bequeath unto my Brother Gylbart Colle my best coate & best dublet and I bequeath to eu[er]ye of his childre’ one ship a peace of one year olde: / And I bequeath unto my Brother Allexander Colle viij sticks of Rye & to eu[er]ye one of his childre’ one ship a peace of one year olde: And I bequeath unto my Son John Colle children to Willm Colle v s apeace:/ Alsoe I bequeath unto my Son Cuthbert Macklyn and Rose his wyff iiij li. and I bequeath unto his iij children iijs iiijd a peace.
