Relationships

Father: Iorwerth ap Gwgon ab Idnerth.

This relationship is shown by Bartrum (Marchudd 3). Bartrum (Marchudd 1) continues the line: Idnerth ab Edryd ab Inethan ab Iasedd ap Carwed ap Marchudd ap Cynan of Uwch Dulas. Sources in Early Welsh Genealogical Tracts take the line back further, to Coel. Roberts (p. 182) cites evidence that in 1334 descendants of Cynwrig and his father, Iorwerth ap Gwrgan, claimed that Llywelyn the Great had granted the privilege to the descendants of Iorwerth ap Gwrgan of holding their lands free of all dues and services, apart from paying suit at the prince's court and the obligation of following the prince in time of war (Roberts, p. 182).

Mother: Gwenllian ferch Rhirid.

This relationship is shown by Bartrum (Marchudd 3). Bartrum (Trahaearn ap Tangwel) continues the line: Rhirid of Tref Rhirid ap Pasgen of Arllechwedd Isaf ap Trahaearn ap Tangwel. Bartrum (Tables: Early Series p. 51) continues: Tangwel ap Lludd ap Llew ap Llyminod Angel ap Pasgen (ab Urien). Bartrum (Tables: Early Series, p. 11) continues: Pasgen ab Urien Rheged (and Modron ferch Afallach) ap Cynfarch oer (and Nyfain ferch Brycan) ap Meichion Gul, and the line is continued on other pages. I am not sure at which point it becomes clearly unreliable.

Spouse: Angharad ferch Hwfa.

This relationship is shown by Bartrum (Marchudd 3).
