Relationships

(possible) Father: Guigues (III).

This relationship is given by Manteyer (p. 64). He suggests this ancestry: Guigues (III) was the son of dom Guiges (II) de Vion and Gandalmoda; Guigues (II) was the son of Guigues (I); Guigues (I) was the son of Rostaing (II) and Bertilde; Rostaing (II) was the son of Rostaing (I) and Sufficie.

Mother: unknown.

Spouse: Fredeburga.

This relationship is given by Manteyer (p. 62) and by Cawley. Manteyer speculates about her origin (p. 63 ff.) and states (p. 70) that she later remarried, which Cawley disputes.

Children:

Humbert, bishop of Grenoble.

(possibly) Richard.

Guigues (V) married Gotelene.
