Commentary

Leycester gives this Hugh and also his father, Hugh, four sons named in order Hugh, Thomas, John, and Adam. No dates are given for either Hugh, except that the elder Hugh bought land in about 1250. One wonders whether there was in fact one Hugh who married twice.
