Attested: 1332, 1355, 1356, 1377-1379. 1394.

In 1332, Iorwerth was a juror at an inquisition at Chirk. In 1355, he witnessed a charter of Richard Earl of Arundel at Chirk (Mostyn p. 24). Carr (p. 151) mentions a lease granted by Iorwerth on 30 January 1394.

It is given by Mostyn (p. 23), by Dwnn (2:308), by Lloyd (4:145), by Carr (1975, p. 17; 2017, p. 140), and by Davies (p. 210). Mostyn (p. 23, citing Add. MS. (B.M.) 15,022, fo. 98 B.) states that a charter of 3 December 29 Edward III (1355) names Ednyfed Gam as the father of Iorwerth (Ddu).

Ieuan (died 1410, possibly in Rome). Ieuan is said by Mostyn to have joined the church and Anglicised his baptismal name to John Trefor. He became Bishop of St. Asaph; Chancellor of Cheshire, Flintshire, and Carnarvon; Deputy and then Lieutenant to the Prince of Wales. In 1404, he joined Owain Glyn Dŵr. Carr (1975, p. 24) regards this identification as doubtful.
