In dei noie ame[n] decimo secundo die septe[m]bris an^o dni 1568 I John Hyll of the parrishe of Hartlebury husbanma[n] whole & perfecte in mynde & memory prayse be to almyghty god but sycke in bodye, do make & ordeyne thys my testament co[n]taining[?] herein my last wyll in maner & forme folowynge. fyrst I com[m]ende my soule to allmyghty god my maker & saviour faythfully trustynge to be saved by the death merites of Jesus Christ by whome I trust to have godes mercy & my body to be buryed in the buryall of Hartlebury.
