Relationships

(probable) Father: Odo, lord of Norton.

This relationship is given by Mathieu (p. 38), by Bur (p. 342, p. 344) and by Keats-Rohan (p. 430). Todd Farmerie, in a post to soc.genealogy.medieval, summarizes another construction which makes Aubry's parents Aubri de Mello and Aelis, the daughter of Hugh, count of Dammartin. (Aelis (Adéläide) was Odo's sister according to the other sources cited above, who I am following here.) Mathieu (p. 50) also notes this hypothesis, suggesting that further research is needed to explain the introduction of the name Aubry into the family.

(probable) Mother: Basilia.

This relationship is given by Bur (p. 344) and by Keats-Rohan (p. 430).

Spouse: unknown.

Bur gives Mathilde, daughter of Renaud II, count of Clermont, and Clemence de Bar/Duc.

Children:

(Complete source citations for facts about the children on this page are currently outside of the scope of this project. Most information below comes from Bur.)

Aubry (II), count of Dammartin (died 20 September 1200) married Mathilde de Clermont-en-Beauvaisis.

Eudes, lord of Buckden.
