In the name of God Amen. the fourth daye of March in the yere of our lorde God. 1567 I Wyllm Harber of the paryshe of Lyghthorne in the Countie of Warr husbandma[n], sicke of bodye, but of whole mynde. and p[er]fecte memorie (lauded be God therfore) doe make and ordayne this my Testamente contayninge therin my las Wyll in man[er] and forme as foloweth. fyrst I bequeth and commende my soule in to the handes of allmightye God. And my bodye to be buried in the Churchyeard of Lighthorne in full hope and assurance of the resurrect[ion] of the same to eternall lyfe in the laste daye. Itm. I gyve to the mother Church of Worcetr ijd. And to the reparations of the Church of Lighthorne one bussell of barley. Itm. I gyve to Wyllm Arnoll one hope[?] of Wheate and an other of barleye. Itm. I gyve to George Mylner, Richard Forne and to Annes Manton a hope of Wheate a pece. Itm. I gyve to my Godchildren iiij d a peece, and to John Knyght at the daye of his mariage a stricke of Wheate. I gyve and bequeth to Annes my daughter viij.li in money or money which to be deliv[er]d to her at the daye of her mariage, or at the foure and twentie yere of her age. but yf she chance to decesse before the delyv[er]ie therof. than my wyll is, that the sayd viij li be equally devided betwene Ellyn my wyffe and John my sonne towards the kepinge of my yongest sonne Richard.
