Commentary

William is mentioned as Benjamin Bach’s son in the 1744 will of Joseph Bach (Benjamin’s father). In the 1788 will of Benjamin Bach, William is not mentioned, but his children are.

Lydia's age given in her burial record her burial implies a date of birth of around 1758, which agrees with her baptism.

The order of the girls given in Benjamin’s will -- which would normally be the order of their births -- is Sarah, Phoebe, Mary, and Lydia.
