In the name of god amen Anno domini 1593 The xxiijth day of marche in the xxxvth yeere of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lady Elizabeth &c I Elizabeth Bouthby of Barrowe in the Countye of Lincoln widowe am sicke in bodye but whole and p[er]fecte in remembrance praised be god doe make this my last will and testamente in manner and forme followinge vidz that is to saie First I comytte mye soule into the mercifull handes of almightie god my maker and redeemer and my bodie to be buried in the churchyarde of Barrowe aforesaid First I give and bequeath to Robert Bouthbie my Sonne a newe brasse pott Item I give and bequeath to George Bouthbie mye Sonne a howleinge pigge and a quarter maulte and a puder dubler Item I give and bequeathe to Isabell Noble mye dawghter a quie and a gowne Item I give and bequeathe to James Bradley of Howselbie a secke of maulte Item I give to Margarette Bouthby the dawghter of Will’m Bouthbie deceased a cubbord and that Edwarde Bouthbie mye Sonne to have ytt in keepinge untill Shee come to lawfull aidge or els be maried and if shee die before shee be married the said Edward Bouthbie to have the said Cubbord Item I give to mye said Sonne Roberte Bouthbie a secke of maulte Item all the rest of my goods nott given nor bequeathed I doe give to Edward Bouthbie mye Sonne whome I doe make and ordaine to be my whole Executor of this mye last Will and testament and that he hall see mye debts paid mye funerall and legacies dischardged and I appointe John Hodgeson and Thomas Byartebee mye [...]
