Settipani discusses the evidence. The relationship is recorded in The Russian Primary Chronicle (pp. 94, 124), which was compiled about 1113, somewhat more than 100 years after Rogneda's death. It is accepted by Raffensperger (2006; 2016; website). Arguments have also been made that she was Anna, daughter of Byzantine Emperor Romanos II.

Ielizaveta (died after 25 September 1066) married Harald III “Hardråde”, king of Norway in 1042.


Sviatoslav (1027 - 27 December 1076), later Sviatoslav II, grand prince of Kiev, married (1) Kilikia; married (2) Oda von Stade.


Vsevolod (1030 - 13 April 1093) later Vsevolod I, grand prince of Kiev, married (1) (probably) a member of the Monomachos family; married (2) a Kuman princess, who adopted the name Anna after marriage.
