Keats-Rohan (p. 1023) gives William's known wife, Eugenia Picot. If this is true, then Gilbert can't have married Alice Picot, as given by the Cambridgeshire VCH, since he would then be marrying his aunt. I am not sure who is wrong.

Spouse: Alice, daughter of Ralph Picot.

This relationship is given by the Cambridgeshire VCH (6:sub Dullingham).
