Richard Scrob

Richard was a French soldier and landowner who came to England in the 1040s and was given land on the Welsh border. He supported the Normans in 1066.

Due to an error by John of Worcester, Richard is often mistakenly called “Richard fitz Scrob.” (Lewis, ODNB)
