In the name of god Amen that I John Cooke of Lemington in body syck and greated but in mynd and remembrance sound and p[er]fecte thanks be to god Doe make my laste will and testament I wishe my soule to allmyghtie god and my bodye to be buryed in Lemington churchard. Imprimis I Doe bequeathe to my wife called Joane and my sonne John all that I have exemptinge thos things that followe which I bestowe on[?] my other children [..] I doe lkwise bequeathe to my eldest Daughter Emme Cooke xli I Doe lykwise bestowe uppon Agnes my second Daughter Twentie nobles and that wood wich ys her owne as vi sheppe I Doe bequeathe to my sonne Nicolas Twentie nobells and that wood wich ys his owne with ys xx[....] shepp and allsoe I doe bestowe of him the yron colte which his brother shild gyve him the keapinge of it I doe bequeath to my youngest sonne Henry twentie nobells and that which ys his owne as iij shepe but lett this be notted that for the Dischardge of this my will and testam[ent] I wishe that my Daughter Emme shalbe [...ed] [..] xli att the time of her mariage but yf yt be soe that she dye then her p[ar]te that ys the xli to be Devyded amongest my foure children John Nicolas Henrie and Agnes noted that Nicolas shall have his xxli nobelles being but the [...] of xxli and lykwise I doe request that my sonne Henrie shall have his xxli nobells att [...] of xxli.
