This 24th day of March in the Year of our Lord God 1740 I Anne Bembow of the Parish of Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Spinster, in a sence of Mortality, being in health and perfect memory and mind thanks be to God therefore: do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament, in manner and form following, Viz
First I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and Jesus Christ my Redeemer; and my Body to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executor hereafter nominated.
And as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased [God] to bless me in this Life I give, devise, bequeath, & dispose the same in manner and form following.
I Will that all my Debts (if any) be fully satisfied & payd.
I Give and bequeath to my dear Mother Esther Ashton the Interest of Sixty Pounds during her Life.
I Give and bequeath to my Sister Mary Ashton the summe of Five pounds,
I Give and bequeath to my Nephew David Lloyd the summe of Five pounds,
I Give and bequeath to my nephew Edward Ashton the son of John Ashton the summe of Ten pounds and my Chest,
I Give and bequeath to my nephew John Ashton the son of John Ashton the summe of Ten pounds,
I Give and bequeath to my nephew Charles Ashton the son of John Ashton the summe of Ten pounds, to be paid them after my mother's decease.
I Give Ten pounds for my funeral expences.
I Give and bequeath to my beloved Sisters Mary Ashton & Elizabeth Evan all my wearing Apparel equally to be divided between them.
I Give and bequeath to my beloved Nephew Valentine Ashton the son of the said John Ashton the summe of Twenty pounds and all the rest of my Chattels Bills Bonds Notes for money or goods whatsoever Whome I do constitute and ordain sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament revoking & anulling all other Wills & Testaments made by me heretofore, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day & year first above written.

In the name of God Amen, this twenty first day of April in the year of Lord god one thousand seven hundred and fifty one, I Charles Ashton of Tref-Eglwys in the Diocess of Bangor being sick and weak in body but of full and perfect memory praised be god and [calling] to mind the mortality of my body and that is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say Chiefly and first of all I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God meritts, death and passion, I hope for pardon and Salvation, and my body I bequeath unto the Earth from whence itt came to be decently Interrd according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named, and as for [...]wordly goods as itt hath pleased god to endue me with I give and bequeth in manner and form following
Imprimis I give and bequeth unto my Eldest son Charles Ashton the sum of fifty pounds
Item: I give and bequeath unto my second son John Ashton the sum of fifty pounds
Item/ I give and bequeth unto my youngest son Jerman Ashton the sum of fifty pounds
Item/ I give and bequeath unto my onely Daughter Dorothy Ashton the sum of fifty pounds
Item/ My Will is that my four Children, above named do pay unto my Mother in Law Hester Ashton. each of them the sum of five shillings on the first day of May in the year 1752, if she live so long, and after[wards] that each of them pay unto the said Hester Ashton the sum of ten shillings on every first day of May during the term of her natural life, which said sums they are to pay out of their several portions above mentiond, not as a Legacy, but as it is due to her from me by A former contract

In the name of God amen, I William Williams of Freeth in the Parish of TrefEglwys in the County of Montgomery and Diocese of Bangor being of sound and perfect memory, do make and ordain this my last will & testament in manner & form following. First being penitent and sorry for my sins most humbly begging forgiveness for the same, I recommend my soul to Almighty God my Saviour and redeemer, in and by whose meritts I trust assuredly to be saved, and to Inherit the Kingdom of heaven, and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named – And as for settling my personal estate I do order give and devise the same as followeth First I will that all my debts and funeral expences be paid and discharged - Item I give and bequeath to my mother Elizabeth Williams the sum of ten pounds Item I give and bequeath to my Brother Edward Williams the sum of five and thirty pounds and all my wearing apparel the sd Legacies to be paid by my Executrix at six [...] end next after my decease – All the Rest of my substance [...] my goods cattle and chattels, and all my personal Estate whatsoever I give & bequeath to my Dearly beloved wife Mary, whom I constitute nominate and appoint sole Executrix of this my last will and testament.
