Worc., to the use of Henry Holland, grandchild of the said William Scott, as a settlement previous to the marriage of the said Henry Holland and Frances Reynolds. [Date 4 December 1660. In the name of God Amen the three and twentyth Day of December Anno Dm 1661 Anno regni Dm [...] Carolis Secondi regis Angli &c Decimo tercio. I William Scott of Woodworde in the p[ar]ish of Chadsley Corbit and County of Worcester yeoman Being Aged & weak in body though of perfect mind and memory praysed be allmighty God do heere mak and ordaine this my last will and Testamt in manner and forme followeing First I commend my Soule into the hands and tuition of the Allmighty God [hopeing?] to be saved by the satisfaction and merrits of my Savyour Jesus Christ my body I comitt to the earth from where it was taken. Item I [...] to the poor of the parish of Chadsley Corbit the some of Forty shillings to be distributed amongst the most hunest poore Inhabitants thereof(?) at the discretion of my executor heerein after named and Five or Six of the Suff… inhabitants of the said parish Item I give unto Elizabeth the daughter of my sonne in law Nicholas Cooper the som of Twenty pounds and the ioyned bed in the parlor with the curtains & pallows one Featherbed and one chaffbed two bolsters and one paire of Flaxen sheets. Item I do give unto my grandchild Elizabeth the daughter of William Pen the som of Tenne pounds and I discharge the said William Penne of all reckonings and dues from him to me Item I do give unto the eight children of my sonne in law Nicholas Cooper John Fraunces Joshua Elenor Anne Shusan Mary and Hanna the soms of Twenty shillings a peece Item I do give unto the three children of my daughter Shusan now the wife of Thomas Fitter twenty shillings a peece being named William Bruckly(?) and Shusan Bruckly and Elizabeth Fitter Item I do give unto my daughter Margery one Featherbed in the little Chamber and one Chaffbed lying under it; two pair of h...den sheets one paire of flaxen sheets one pair of blanketts one Coverlett and two bolsters. Item I give unto my daughter Margaret the wife of William Penne my biggest brasse kettle and two of my dishus of pewter the second per good… and the third and also halfe a dozen of Flaxen napkins and my little brasse pott. Also I do give more forto(?) my daughter Margarett Penne my [...er] Flaxen table cloth one pair of homayde sheetes. Item I do give unto my grandchild Henry Holland my Maltmill the Tableboard in the hall and the Tableboord in the Parlor. Item I Do give unto my sonne in law William Cole all the rest of my goods cattells and chattells he paying my debts and Funerall expences And I do heerby mak him whole and sole Executor of this my will and Testament And my will is that my Executor shall pay all the aforesaid quists and legacies before mentioned within half a year after my deceasse except such as are under age whose legacie or legacies shall be kept in my Executors hands untill they shall accomplish the age of twenty one years. Item I do Desire my loving kinsmen John Taylor of Winterfield, and Frauncis Scott that they would oversee the execution of this my will that it be done according to my intention And I do revoke and mak voide all other former wills and Testaments whatsoever. In Witness whereof I the said William Scott have sett to my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written /
