Commentary

The relationship of Mary and her parents is made clear by a couple of wills. The will of William Scott mentions his sons-in-law William Cole and and Nicholas Cooper, and Nicholas's son Francis. The will of Mary's son William Cole mentions his cousin Francis Cooper.
