Heir as above.

Commentary

The Hampshire VCH (5:sub Brading) states that Iseult was probably the widow of William de Aumarle, who died in 1288-9 holding a fee at Alverstone, and leaving a son Geoffrey. This seems to be incorrect, as Geoffrey de Lisle is recorded already married to an Isolda in 1279. William’s son and heir Geoffrey was born about 1267, so if Iseult was his sister, she must have been much older. Perhaps she was a sister of William.
