This relationship is given by given by père Anselme (1:68), by Saint-Phalle, by Settipani (p. 401), and by Baldwin.

Mother: unknown.

Saint-Phalle suggests that she was a sister of Hugues the Abbot.


Spouse: Béatrix.

This relationship is given by Baldwin, who notes that it is doubtful that she was a daughter of Heribert I de Vermandois. Settipani (1993, p. 407) makes her the daughter of Heribert I, regarding the name and relationship as "parfaitement assurés". In (2012), he still maintains this, but with less confidence. Lewis (p. 11) and Bouchard (p. 18) also make Heribert I Beatrice's father.
