This relationship is given by Loyd (p. 41). Gundreda had Holsworthy, Devon as her maritagium. Loyd states that Fulk was probably the Fulk Paynel who was of Bampton. The account in Early Yorkshire Charters (6:53-55) states that the balance of evidence suggests that the father of Gundred Paynel was Fulk Paynel of Bampton, but her mother was perhaps not Fulk's wife Alda.
