Provero states that Bonifacio was born in about the middle of the 11th century. He attested a donation in 1064.


Date of Death: shortly after 1127.

Place of Death: unknown.

Bonifacio is last recorded when he attested a 1127 donation.

(supposed) Spouse: Alix de Savoie.

This relationship is given by Palluel-Guillard and by Cawley. Cawley notes that Szabolcs de Vajay states that Alix never existed, but tentatively gives her as a wife, citing a charter referring to her. Usseglio (p. 424) dismisses the charter as a fabrication.
