John Brewster


Richard Brewster (born about 1736 - buried 5 April 1783 in West Rasen, Lincolnshire) married Dorothy, the widow of Charles Willoughby, 16 May 1767 in West Rasen.


Thomas Brewster (born about 1737 - buried 22 September 1815 in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire) married Ann Lilly 23 July 1766 in Market Rasen. Thomas was a master cordwainer.


William Brewster (born about 1745 - buried 23 October 1813 in West Rasen) married Ann Bullevant 23 February 1789 in West Rasen. William was a master cordwainer.

Richard Brewster of the Parish of Binbrooke in the County of Lincoln and Dorothy Willoughby of this Parish of West Rasen in the County of Lincoln aforesaid widow were Married in this Church by Licence this Sixteenth Day of May in the Year one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty-Seven by me Jo.s Haslehurst Curate-

Charles’s will:


I being very much Indisposed in Body, but of Sound Mind & Memory do make this my last Will & Testament in form following. Inprimis being perfectly resigned to the Will of Heaven I do recommend my Soul into the hands of my Creator, from whom I received it, & as to my worldly good I do dispose of them by this my Will in the following manner. I give to my Sons John, Richard, Thomas, William one shilling each, & to my Daughter Ann, One shilling, & further I do give to my Son William Brewster the Blue Cow; and as for all my other Goods & Chattels I give unto my Daughter Hannah Brewster, whom I appoint by this my last Will & Testament my whole & Sole Executrix; In Witness whereof I have hearunto Set my hand this Seventh day of May in the year One thousand, Seven hundred & Seventy nine
