The baptism is recorded in the parish register. It is the only baptism of a Thomas Ward that appears in the surviving parish registers of the area at roughly the correct time. However, there is also a strong possibility that the record of Thomas’s baptism does not survive. If I could find a “Willow Green” or “Wood Green” near Chatcull, it would be more likely that this baptism is correct, but so far I have turned up nothing.

The name of Thomas’s father is recorded in his baptism record. He seems to have been of “Willow Green”. Robert’s father was George Ward of “Wood Green”, who was buried in 1664.

Mother: unknown.

Spouse: Elianor.

Elianor’s name is recorded in the baptism record of her son Thomas.
