Evidence

from Palmer (p. 48):

Sir Geoffrey Marmion was a benefactor to the Knights Templars. On their preceptory of Balsall he bestowed two virgates in Middleton, worth 4s. in 1185; and the same preceptory had 2s. in Stafford of his and Thomas Fitz Noel’s fief. To the preceptory of Wallington he gave the church of Llandstephan with 50a. of land, fishery in the Taff, and free passage for all across the Tywy. Llanstephan and Arrow passed to Sir Geoffrey’s only daughter Albreda, who was married to Sir Wiliam de Camvile.
