Commentary
Elizabeth’s parentage:
Elizabeth was married in Painwick in 1718. Two possible baptisms for this Elizabeth appear in the indexes, both in Painswick: in 1687 to Samuel and Ann, and in 1696/7 to John and Elizabeth. Samuel and John were brothers.
This husband of the Elizabeth of this page was born in 1695, so the 1696/7 baptism is more likely on chronological grounds, but not certain.
