Margaret made her will 7 April 1659 and it was proved 29 September 1659.

Mother: unknown.

Probably, since she is described in her marriage record as "Margaret Wilson White", her father was the John Wilson white who was also the father of a Hugh Wilson who had a daughter baptized in Llandinam in 1594. The colour bynames "black", "white", and "red" seem to be used to distinguish three John Wilsons and their families in the area during the time period.


Spouse: Robert Wilson. Married 31 January 1599/1600 at Llandinam.

David Bennett makes his father in law Robert Wilson an overseer in his 1655 will, as well as his brother in law Thomas Hall.

Margaret’s will:


In the name of God Amen the seaventh day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God 1659 I Margarett Wilson of the Parish of Trevegloes in the County of Montgomery Widdowe being sicke in body but of good and perfect memorie (Praise be given to Almighty God) therefore doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme Followeing comitting my soule into the hands of Almighty Jesus Creator hopeing to bee pardoned with the faithfull by the merritts of Jesus Christ my redeemer and as for my worldly goods I dispose of as herein hereafter may dep… First I give and bequeath unto Ellinor the wife of William Woosnam being my second daughter the summe of three pounds Alsoe I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Bennett my third daughter the like summe of three pounds which said summe of three poundes is already in her hands Alsoe I give and bequeath unto Margaret the wife of John Brees my fourth daughter the like summer of three pounds Alsoe I give unto Jane the wife of Thomas Baxter my youngest daughter the summe of seaven pounds of which said summe of seaven pounds twenty shillings be already paid being debt due to me from the said Thomas Baxter likewise I give and bequeath unto the said Jane my youngest daughter the summe of Forty shillings being debt due to me from Mr Willm Herbert and my Will is that the said Jane shalbe at the charge of getting and Receveing the said summe of Forty shillings without putting my ex’tor to any trouble Alsoe I give unto Richard Woosnam my grandsonne the sume of tenn shillings Alsoe I give unto Edward Wilson the sume of twentie shillings Alsoe I give unto Ellinor Wilson the sume of tenne shillings Also I give and bequeath the summe of Five shillings towards the reparacon of the parish Church of Trevegloes All the rest of my goods chatels debts by Specialty as alsoe without not formerly bequeathed I give and bequeath unto Thomas Hall my sonne in law And I doe alsoe nominate & appointe the said Thomas Hall to bee my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hopeing in soe that hee will performe it according to the true meaning hereof In wittness whereof I the said Margarett Wilson to this my last Will and Testament doe put my hand and Seale and doe revoke all other Wills formerly by me made for onely by these presents The marke of the said Margarett Wilson Sealed and delivered in the sight and presence of David Morris Giles Mednie Christopher Hall John Savage.
