This relationship is given by the VCH of Berkshire (vol. 4 sub Hungerford) and by Sanders (p. 125). It is recorded in fines from 1237 (21 Henry III nos. 133-136).

Mother: Gundred de La Ferté

This relationship is given by the VCH of Berkshire (vol. 4 sub Hungerford). Sanders (p. 125) calls her Gundrada.


Spouse: Hawise de London

This relationship is given by Cawley, citing a charter of her son Pain in Dugdale’s Monasticon (5:591). The VCH of Berkshire (vol. 4 sub Hungerford) gives her name as Hawisia. Patrick's wife is recorded as Hawise in a fine from 19 December 1243 (28 Henry III no. 45). Dugdale (2:517) gives her as Hawyse, the daughter and heir to Thomas de Londres (or London) Lord of Ogmore and Kidwelly in Wales, citing "Ex. coll. R.Gl.S."
