In the description in the Warwickshire Archives catalogue of Mary’s 1618 marriage settlement, Mary is described as “the daughter of John Spyrer of Napton-on-the-hill, yeoman”.
The Southam parish register records the baptism in 1594 of “Marie Spicer daughter of John & Agnes”.
John and Agnes’s eldest child was baptized in Southam in 1588/9. The Southam register records the marriage in 1587 of John Spicer and Agnes Edmundes.
In her 1626 will, Agnes Spicer of Napton upon the hill, widow, named her daughter Mary Ledbroke.
