The burial is given by the Warminghurst Project transcription of the Warminghurst bishop’s transcripts (Alice Bridger ux John Bridger).

(probable) Father: Edmund Steere of Capel, Surrey.

The 1634 Visitation of Sussex (p. 156) gives Alice's father as ... Steere of Ockley, Surrey. Capel is near Ockley, where Edmund originally came from. Edmund leaves his daughter Alice five pounds in his 1545 will.

Mother: unknown.


Spouse: John Bridger (died 1578).
