Commentary
Sarah’s 1820 burial record gives her age at death as 68. This is consistent with the 1752 baptism at the Upper Meeting Independent chapel in Bromsgrove, which records Sarah’s parents as John and Ann Nott.
John and Ann’s eldest child was baptized in Bromsgrove in 1737. The Bromsgrove register records the marriage in 1734 of John Nott and Ann Allfoord.
