Relationships

(possible) Father: Hen Ithel Gam.

This relationship is suggested by Bartrum (Edwin 10), although his sources give Maredudd. Bartrum’s reasoning is that the mention of Hen Ithel Gam in sources “suggests the reason for the defectiveness of this genealogy, i.e. two persons named Ithel Gam who were misidentified.” Mostyn (p. 192) gives Maredudd. Glenn (pp. 136-137) discusses reasons why the traditional pedigree (with Maredudd as the father) cannot be correct.

Mother: unknown.

(possible) Spouse: Tibod ferch Rhirid.

This relationship is shown by Bartrum (Edwin 14). The only source for this marriage appears to be a 17th century manuscript, probably by Jacob Chaloner.

Children:

(Complete source citations for facts about the children on this page are currently outside of the scope of this project. Most information below comes from Bartrum.)

Ithel Fychan married Adles ferch Richard.
