In the name of God Amen I Thomas Gibbins of Sowthame in the Countie of Warr’ husbandman beinge sicke in Body but of good & p[er]fect remembrance thanks be gyven to god therfore the xiiijth of Aprill in the fyveth of yere of the raingne of or sou[er]aingne lorde James by the grace of God Kinge of England Fraunce & Ireland Defender of the fayth &c and of Scotland the fourteith Ao Dom’ 1607 Doe make and Ordayne this my last will & Testamt in mann[er] & forme followinge that is to saye, First I bequeath my soule to allmightie god my maker and redemer & my bodie to be buried in the Church yeard of Sowthame aforesaid, First I devise gyve & bequeath unto my Sonne Richard Gibbins the one halfe of my Lyvinge to be occupied Joyntlie togeather with me duringe my life.
