In the name of god Amen, the xiijth day of nove[m]ber, in the first yeare of the Rainge of our Sov[er]ainge, Lorde, James, by the grace of god King of England [...] France and Ireland kinge defender, of the fayth etc, I, John Taylor, of Winterfould, in the p[ar]ish of Chadsley Corbett, in the com. of Worc., husbandma[n] being [...] of good and p[er]fect Reme[m]brance, thanks be geven to god doe make, and ordayne, my Testament, contayninge my laste will in mann[er], and forme following That ys to saye, First I bequeathe my Soule into the hands, of Allmighty god my saviour, and Redeemer, and my bodye, to be buried, in the [parish church] of Chadsley afforesaid, Ite[m] I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Taylor my eldest daughter the some of fortye pounds to be payd within the space, of two yeares, next after my deceasse, Ite[m], I give unto John Taylor my sonn, the some of fortye pounds, to be payd [...] by five pounds, yearely, during the tearme of eight years, next after my deceasse, Ite[m] I give and bequeath unto Ann Taylor my daughter, the some, of twenty pounds, to be payde, when she shall attaine, unto the age of twelve yeares, and then my will is, that the [...] shalbe ymployed, and sett forth for her beste advantage, Item I give, and bequeath unto Mary Taylor, my daughter the some of twenty pounds, to be payde, when she shall likewise, attayne, unto the age, of twelve yeares, and then to be ymployed, and sett forth for her, and to her use.
