Mary’s will:


In the Name of God Amen the tenth day of February in the five and Twentyth year of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of god king of England Scotland France and Ireland defender of the faith etc: Anno Domini 1672 I Mary Harbart of Lighthorne in the County of Warwick widdow being being in p[er]fect minde and memory god bee praysed for the same doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in maner and form following: first I commit my Soul into the hands of the blessed Trinyty God the Father. god the sonn. and god the holy Ghost. my maker and Redeemer and sanctifier. and my body to Christian buriall there to rest in certaine hope of resurrection to everlasting life. also I give unto my Sonn William Harbars Children the summe of tenn pounds to bee equally proporcioned to bee payde by Executor heareafter named immediately after my decease. I give unto my Sonne Henry Harbars Children the summe of tenn pounds to bee equally proportioned to be paide by my saide Executor immediatly after my decease: I give unto my Sonn in law William Smiths Children the summ of five pounds to bee equally proporconed to bee payde by me saide Executor immediatly after my decease. I give unto my Sonn Richard Harbar the summ of Six pounds to be payde by my saide Executor immediatly after my decease I give unto my Sonn John Harbar one shilling. I give unto my Daughter Margret Morton one shilling: I give unto William Harbar my Sonn John Harbars Sonn the Chaffern one in the kitchin. I give unto Sarah Harbar my Sonn Johns Daughter two shillings six pence: I make and ordayne my Sonn Thomas Harbar Executor of this my last will and Testament to whome I give all my goods Catle and Chattells unbequeathed my debts being paide and funerall expences discharged. I give also unto my saide Executor my deadyeare in my Living in Lighthorne aforesaid: I make and ordaine my loving frend Robert Archer. and my Sonn William Harbar to bee overseers of this my Will and I give to each of them one shilling in witness hereof I have here to sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written ---
