William de Singleton and others are defendants in an assize of novel disseisin regarding a tenement in Gosnarhe. Plaintiffs: Bernard de Mitton, Ralph de Caterale, Adam de Hocton, Richard le Botiler, and Adam de Blakeburn.

In the Chartulary of the Priory of Lancaster (Chetham Society 1894, 2:425-6), a charter confirms the donation of property to the priory, and records the name of William's father and son.
