Richard de Weever (died about 1374)

Richard was of Weaver, Cheshire, in 1360.

Events

Date of Birth: about 1327.

Place of Birth: unknown.

Richard was aged 30 years in 31 Edward III (Ormerod 2:208). (However, this would seem to be contradicted by the escheat given below, which shows that Richard was a minor in 1350.)

Date of Death: about 1373 or 1374.

Place of Death: unknown.

Richard’s inquisition post mortem (Ormerod 2:208) has no date attached, but it states that Richard’s son and heir, Thomas, was aged 3, which would imply a date of about 1373 or 1374. Ormerod (2:210) gives a date of about 1378. Earwaker (2:596) states that Richard was dead in 1378.
