...les Chroniques racontent que son père la destinait au roi de France Philippe-Auguste, mais que le comte Thomas en tomba amoureux et l'enleva au passage; elle eut en tout cas comme dot Cornillon et la vallée des Clefs. Ce fut une princesse glorieuse, mère d'au moins huit fils et deux filles, probablement aussi cultivée que belle; la Don de Savoya fut célébrée par le troubadour Raimbaud de Vaqueiras ver 1201...
