The Complete Peerage states that Alienore died before 14 August 1282, but this is described as apparently based on a misinterpretation in Some Corrections and Additions to the Complete Peerage.

Mother: Joan.

This relationship is given by the Complete Peerage (12:1:352, 353, as modified by volume 14; cited in Some Corrections and Additions to the Complete Peerage.) The CP suggests that she was a de Beche. Douglas Richardson, in a series of posts to soc.genealogy.medieval, argues that she was the daughter of Savary de Bohun of Midhurst, Sussex, and Cecily fitz Geoffrey.


Spouse: John (V) le Strange.

This relationship is given by the Complete Peerage (12:1:352, 353, as modified by volume 14; cited in Some Corrections and Additions to the Complete Peerage.) The date is given as between 13 October 1275 and 1 June 1276.
