Commentary


Mary’s age at burial puts her birth in around 1738. The 1750 burial record of John Hall at Goxhill states that he was a tailor in Middle Rasen. This makes it highly likely that the baptism for Mary given above is correct. John's will mentions Mary, her mother, and her siblings.
