John's will:


In the name of God Amen I John Hall of Middle Raisin in the County of Lincoln Yeoman being sick and weak in Body but of sound Mind and Memory Thanks be to God for the same do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and Form following First I Recommend my Soul to God and my Body I Commit to the Earth in hopes of a Joyful Re.Union And as to such Temporal Estate wherewith it hath Pleased Almighty God to Blesse me I Give and Dispose thereof as followeth. To my Son John and to my two Daughters Elizabeth and Ann I Give Fifteen Pounds a piece to be paid them as they shall severally attain their respective ages of one and twenty years and my mind and will is that my Dear and Loving wife shall maintain Educate and bring up my said three Children until they shall severally attain the age of one and twenty years To my said Son John I Give my Silver Cupp To the Child wherewith my said Wife is now Ensient I give Fifteen Pounds to be paid when it shall arrive at the age of one and twenty years But in Case the said Child shall happen to die before such age Then my will is that the said Fifteen Pounds shall fall to amongst my my said three children John, Elizabeth, and Ann. share and share alike To my said Daughter Ann I Give on Silver Spoon. To my Daughter Mary I also Give one Silver Spoon. And my will is that in Case my said Son John shall Live with his Mother till he attain his said age of One and twenty years Then he shall have the Choice of either Horse or Mare out of my Cattle which he likes best All the rest residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever not herein before disposed of I Give and Bequeath to my said Dear and Loving Wife Mary, and to my Daughter Mary whom I constitute and Appoint joint Executrixes and Residuary Legatees of this my last Will and Testament they paying my Funeral Expences Debts and Legacies Hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereto Sett my Hand and Seal this twenty Seventh Day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty.
