Commentary

The other Elizabeth Wigans baptized in the area at the time seem to have died young: an Elizabeth Wigan baptized 8 October 1705 (father James) was buried in 1708, and an Elizabeth Wigan baptized 30 January 1703 (father John) was buried in 1707.
