Andrew’s will:
In the name of God, Amen, I Andrew Brees of the parish of Treveglwis of the County of Montgomery yeoman being sick of Body & of sound and perfect mind & memory Prays be therefore Given to allmighty God do make and ordain this my [present] & last Will and Testament in maner and form folowing that is to say first and principally I commend my soul into the hands of all mighty God hoping through the merits death and Passion of my saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit ever lasting life and my Body I commit to the earth to be decently Buried at the discretion of my executors hereafter named and as tuching the disposition of all such temporall Estate as is hath pleased Allmighty God to bestow upon me
I give and dispose thereof as foloweth.
In primis I do demise give and bequeath to Andrew Brees my Eldest Sonne and heire all that tenement of Lands with it's Appurtenances commonly known and taken by the name of Tanylann ["Thomas Ingram" written in margin] with houses barns Gardens orchards woods underwoods Liberties Easments and commodityes whatsoever unto the sayd Andrew Brees my Eldest Sonn him and his heirs forever to have and to hould in as large an ample maner as I do occupy and enjoy the same.
Item. I do demise give and bequeath to Andrew Brees my Ealdest Sonn and Heir all that tenement of lands with it's appurtenances commonly known and taken by the name of Delecoid[?] sittuate ling and being in the Township of Glin Trevnant and parish of Trefeglwis but the aforesd tenement Tanylan is Situated and lying in the Township of Eschireth and in the sayd parish of Trefeglwys Both in the County of Montgomery unto him the sayd Andrew Brees my Eldest sonn and Heir to have and to hould him and his Heirs forever with all houses outhouses Barnes bildings Gardens orchards woods or underwoods waters watercourses all Liberties Easment And Commodities whatsoever.
Item I do demise give and bequeath to the sayd Andrew Brees my Eldest sonn and Heir all that Tenement of Lands with its Apurtenances comonly known and taken by the name of Byrdir Situate lying and being in the township of Escheireth and parish of Trefeglwys and County of Montgomery unto him the sayd Andrew Brees my Eldest sonn and Heir to have and to hould him and his heirs forever
Item I give and bequeath to the sayd Andrew Brees my Eldest sonn and [heir] Two furnases and one Fute[?] and one joston[?] and an iron [sku..] for press and press plate and the paire of sheeres and the Engine the fulling mill and all the appurtenances belonging to the shop & Dyehouse
Item My Will is that my sonne Andrew Brees is charged [...] due of the sayd DaleCoed and Byedir and all Impliments belonging to the dyehouse and the shop and the new fulling Mill and [Eng...] In manor and form as followeth; that is to say that the sayd Andrew Brees my Eldest Sonne and Heir shall pay the full summe of fourescore pounds of currant English money to his brothers and sister in maner and form as foloweth,
Imprimis first of all to his brother Richard Brees the full sum of Twenty Pounds of currant English money when he Ataines the age of one and twenty years.
Item to Samuel Brees the full summe of twenty pounds of currant English money to be payd when he ataines the age of one and twenty years.
Item to John Brees the full summe of twenty pounds of currant English money to be payd when he ataines the age of fourteen years.
Item to Brigerd Brees the full summe of twenty pounds of currant English money to be payd when she ataines the age of fourteen years.
Item my Will is the Executors hereafter mentioned are to pay to Bridgerd Brees the full summe of twenty pounds of currant English money to be payd when she ataines the age of fourteen years.
Item my Will is in case that the sayd Richard Brees or the sayd Samuel Brees shall depart this life before they Ataine or accomplish the age of one and twenty years that Legacy is to be equally divided among [...]

Item I give and bequeath to my well beloved wife Bridgiard Brees all my personall goods Cattels and Chatels and househould stuff and impliments of husbandry except one Wagon.
Item It is my will that my Eldest son Andrew Brees shall have the sayd Wagon & a score of sheep and a aither a Horse or a mare.
Lastly I do nominate and apoynt Bridgard my well beloved wife & my sone Richard Brees to be my soule Executors of this my Last Will and Testament to see my will performed my Legacies and dets payd and funerall expences In Witness hereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seal to this my last will and Testament being contained in one sheet of paper dated the thirtieth day of october 1705
