Relationships

(supposed) Father: Sir William Trussell, of Marston Trussell, Northamptonshire.

This relationship is given by Ormerod/Helsby (2:64, 2:73). Ormerod states that William is “said to be identical with the Speaker of the Commons House of Parliament, who delivered sentence against the Despencers.” This doesn’t appear to be likely for chronological reasons, according to the construction of the family worked out by John Watson in three posts to soc.genealogy.medieval, although Hawise could be related to the family somehow.

Mother: uncertain.

Spouse: Sir William de Helsby. Married before 1303.

This relationship is given by Ormerod/Helsby (2:64, 2:73).
