Relationships

Father: Thomas Cally.

Mother: Jane Plumpton.

Thomas and Jane were married in Frodsham shortly before Hugh, Elizabeth’s brother, was born. The will of Elizabeth’s brother William mentions George Plumpton.

Spouse: Raphe Bushell.

The will of Raphe mentions his wife Elizabeth. The will of William Cally mentions his sister Elizabeth’s children (unnamed), and also leaves bequests to Randle and Thomas Bushell, as well as making Thomas Bushell his executor. The will does not explicitly state that Randle and Thomas were Elizabeth’s children, but this seems the most obvious interpretation.

Spouse: Thomas Hall. Married 2 November 1615 at Frodsham, Cheshire.

The marriage is recorded in the parish register. The marriage licence and bond record that Thomas Hall was of Davenham and that Elizabeth Bushell was a widow of Frodsham.
