The will of Mary’s brother William:


I Wiliam Hinton of Speake in the County of Lancaster being Infirm of Body but of Sound mind do make and declare this my last will and Testament as follows that after my Body is Decently Interred and any Debts and funeral Expences paid my Sister Mary Houghton Living in Prescot shall have the full and Sole Disposal of my Chattel Lease Estate lying in Speake to and for her Proper use during her natural Life and I do Nominate & appoint Thomas Grace and Henry Brownbill both of Speake my executors that they take care of my Sister Mary Houghton Injoy the same without molestation or Hindrance In Testimony wherof I Wiliam Hinton have made my mark this sixth day of march anno domini 1745/6 Wiliam Hinton his mark M
